QM and Patient Safety

The functions of SRMC Quality Management and Patient Safety Division are:  Assist commanders in teh development of Joint Commission Continuous Survey Readiness programs and initiatives; Provide Medical Management assistance to MTFs in region;  Provide technical guidance for the privileging and credentialing of active, reserve, and contracted health care providers within the region; Provide oversight and coordination of professional activities in quality and risk management, patient safety programs, and clinical practice guidelines implementation;  Assist the development of patient safety programs, TapRoot, and FMEA process.
