Command Sergeant Major Jayme D. Johnson

CSM Jayme Johnson enlisted in the U.S. Army in 1988. After completing Basic Combat Training and Advanced Individual Training, he attended the Basic Airborne Course.

CSM Johnson's assignments include: 690th Ambulance Company, Fort Benning, Georgia; 3/325th Airborne Battalion Combat Team, Vicenza, Italy; 236th Medical Company (Air Ambulance), Landsthul, Germany; 82nd Forward Support Battalion, Fort Bragg, North Carolina; Joint Readiness Training Center, Fort Polk, Louisiana; U.S. Army School of Aviation Medicine (USASAM), Fort Rucker, Alabama; 6th Medical Logistics Management Center (MLMC), Fort Detrick, Maryland; USAMEDDAC Bavaria, Vilseck, Germany; Bayne-Jones Army Community Hospital (BJACH), Fort Polk, Louisiana; and 32d Medical Brigade, Fort Sam Houston, San Antonio, Texas.

He has held leadership positions as: Air Ambulance NCO, Emergency Medical Treatment NCO, Ambulance Platoon Sergeant, Treatment Platoon Sergeant, Battalion Operations NCOIC, Forward Support Medical Company First Sergeant, MEDEVAC Observer/Controller, USASAM First Sergeant, 6th MLMC Sergeant Major, USAMEDDAC Bavaria Command Sergeant Major, BJACH Command Sergeant Major, and 32d Medical Brigade Command Sergeant Major.

CSM Johnson's education includes: Basic Airborne Course, Jumpmaster Course, Pathfinder Course, Air Assault School, Medical Evacuation Doctrine Course (2C-F7), Medical Management of Chemical Casualties Course, EMT Basic, Warrior Leader Course, Advanced Leader Course, Senior Leader Course, Battle Staff NCO Course, Total Army Instructor Training Course, Health Services Plans, Operations, Intelligence, Security and Training Officer Course (70H), and the First Sergeant Course. He is also a graduate of Class 56 from the United States Army Sergeants Major Academy. Command Sergeant Major Johnson holds a Bachelor's of Science in Health Care Management (Magna Cum Laude) from Trident University International.
CSM Johnson's awards and decorations include:

Legion of Merit, Meritorious Service Medal (4 OLC), Army Commendation Medal (3 OLC), Army Achievement Medal (6 OLC), Good Conduct Medal (8th Award), National Defense Service Medal with bronze service star, Southwest Asia Service Medal with bronze service star, Global War on Terrorism Service Medal, Humanitarian Service Medal with bronze service star, NCO Professional Development Ribbon (Numeral 4), Army Service Ribbon, Army Overseas Service Ribbon (Numeral 3), Kuwait Liberation Medal, Joint Meritorious Unit Award and Army Superior Unit Award. He has also earned the Expert Field Medical Badge, Master Parachutist Badge, Senior Aviation Badge, Pathfinder Badge, Air Assault Badge, French Army Parachutist Badge and is a recipient of both the Order of Saint Michael and the Order of Military Medical Merit.CSM Johnson is a Sergeant Audie Murphy Club member and was the 2001 Joint Readiness Training Center and Fort Polk NCO of the Year.
